Community Guidelines

These guidelines are intended to ensure that the KIOO Project website and its features are used in a constructive manner that promotes a robust community of learning and giving. The quality of the KIOO Project community depends on each user’s respect for the following guidelines.

  • Many KIOO Project participants are under 18 years of age. Please do not use the content in any way that could be considered inappropriate for children, in particular any use that is sexually explicit or pornographic.
  • Do not use the content in any way that might be considered objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to: physical or verbal abuse of any kind, physical or verbal attacks of any kind, other acts intended to humiliate another person, and uses of the content to incite or depict any other type of violence.
  • Do not use the content to incite or engage in any illegal activity. For example, do not repost videos or photos from this website on your social media networks with the purpose of defaming or otherwise humiliating the participants of the workshop.
  • Respect other people’s intellectual property and only upload content that you are authorized to use. For more information please consult KIOO Project’s Terms of Use at https://kiooproject.org/terms-of-use.
  • KIOO Project respects free speech and encourages all users to express their views, whether popular or unpopular. However, hate speech is illegal and harmful. Hate speech is speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation and gender identity.

Please take these guidelines seriously. Following them will create a better experience for all KIOO Project participants and users of this website. If you have any doubts as to whether your use of the website’s content is objectionable or is contrary to these guidelines or the Terms of Use, please do not use it.
